I describe myself as a modern nomad. Born in Kabul, raised and shaped in Germany, I studied and trained in Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, and the United States – and have worked in Germany, the UK, and now the Netherlands.

As an anesthesiologist, I am confronted every day with care, vulnerability, precision, time, and healing. These experiences from the operating room become the raw material for my artistic work.

In my practice, I translate these impressions into abstract sculptures – an encounter between two worlds: the intense reality of medicine and the freedom of abstract expression.
